I was asked to paint a Highland Cow and loved the challenge as I have not ventured there before. They are a Scottish breed who have a double coat. There is a long, oily outer coat for waterproofing against rain and snow then a soft, warm and woolly undercoat. But most important of all, they are so pretty.
